Thanksgiving at the Lake District

We spent Thanksgiving weekend at the Lake District...
this is Brockelbank cottage where we stayed... it was lovely!
Here is Anderson... all ready in his pack to go on a hike!
Me and Kat on our way up the mountain. (Kat is the au pair for Brooke and Tom who are friends of Kerrie and Matt)
Matt and Anderson!
At the top... what a great view! We were SO lucky with the weather... it was bloody cold but the sun was shining!
more of the amazing view of the lake district...
Anders fell so many times... he was wearing so many layers he was a little top heavy! He seems to really love the freedom to run and around by himself though!
Coming down the mountain was a little more difficult than climbing up. It may not look like it, but it was very slippery... there were so many times when I nearly fell!
Back at the house Brooke cooked a very yummy thanksgiving dinner...
serving up...
and then home again on Sunday. Anderson looking quite tired and ready for the 5 hour drive
some scenery as we were leaving..
it was very much the country side!
and the boy.... finally sleeping!

Snow Patrol

Last week I went to see Snow Patrol at Royal Albert Hall. It was just great! I tried to upload video but it's not working for me at the moment, so a few not very good photos will have to do!
Royal Albert Hall... probably nearly the best venue I've ever been to.

Oh how he's grown!

Today I took Anderson to the park to get some fresh air and play in the leaves!
He is just so damn cute i couldn't resist sharing some really sweet photos :)

He really enjoyed running around... so much that when it was time to go visit Patrick (in the next photo) he cracked the shits big time!!
Anderson and I have a play date with Patrick and Amy every Thursday (Amy is Patrick's nanny) and they get along very well... most of the time!
Anders is full of kisses at the moment. Here is one for Amy! (not sure what was on TV in the background but it sure does look suss!)

Here is a flash back... just to show how fast a year has gone (this was taken shortly after me arriving in the UK)

Halloween 09

Last week marked the 1 year anniversary of me moving to London to work for the Dunker family and explore this side of the world. It has been such a good year!
Yesterday we celebrated Halloween... American style!
Kerrie went all out with the house... it looked so good all the trick or treaters who came to the house said that ours was the best :)
This is Kerries masterpiece!
Avery's pumpkin...
Kerring carving her pumpkin...
Avery and I gutting our pumpkin
it's not a nice feeling!!
Avery, a pirate and Sloane, Bat-girl!!
Anderson... a skeleton!
