Turks and Caicos

Last week I tagged along with the Dunker family for their April holiday in paradise!
Kerrie, Matt, Avery, Sloane, Anderson and I jumped on a plane to Toronto, Canada, where we met Kelley (Kerrie's sister) and her husband Dave, Kelley's two boys Harrison and Jarrett and Kerrie's parents, Linda and Mike.
We all traveled to Turks and Caicos together (after going through the tightest security I've ever experienced in Toronto and a quick stop over in Charlotte)... we arrived and were dropped off at the local supermarket to wait for our ride to the House.
Here is the clan... minus Matt and Dave who were getting the hire car!
We get to the house and its a little gloomy outside... the sun is starting to go down. We get some much needed sleep and then I wake up in the morning with a hungry Anderson and see this...
just beautiful!
we spent the week either relaxing by the pool or playing on the beach... (our house is in the background, it was just a hop skip and jump to the sand!)
Kerrie and Matt mastered the kite flying...
Although we were sure that at some stage Anderson would jump in the pool, most of the time he seemed quite happy to sit and watch or find toys to throw in and hope that someone would get them for him...
Luckily when he did eventually jump in... Kelley was there to catch him!
Here is the whole gang in front of the back of the house...
We were very lucky with weather... although it was quite windy some days....
...there were plenty of opportunities to get some sun....
...and relax by the pool!
the beach :)
And to top it off.... Parasailing!
up up and away....
Harrison and I... a speckle in the sky!
Kerrie and her brave little girls! We couldn't believe that Sloaney had the balls to do this but she came back down waving with a big smile on her face!
All in all a fabulous holiday!
Now of all things... A volcano has erupted in Iceland, delaying our flight by what might be a week... so here we are in Canada, in 10 degree weather with our Summer clothes!! Hopefully it won't be too long until we can get safely home!
